FLUFFFF is a design studio exploring the intersections of human-derived architecture and our non-human counterparts.
The name “fluff” pulls from a rich tradition of women’s work and craft that was designed out during western modernism - deemed un-autonomous and therefore superfluous and no longer valid. We honor the entangled nature of craft and being, embracing our fellow (fluffy and not-fluffy) non-human models of symbiogenesis, and strive for a more collaborative, inclusive design practice.
This site will be approached not as an archive of our works, but as a living, temporal space where our research, built/ unbuilt explorations and ideas can exist and interact with the entangled life of those around us.
